Kids love being creative, especially in the kitchen, but it can be difficult, if not chaotic, to let them loose in the kitchen at home.
The Olive Press Restaurant in Manchester has cookery classes at 3pm on the first Sunday of every month for would-be mini chefs. They also have a Little Olives reward card which entitles youngsters to a special gift once they have completed a series of culinary tasks.
Children are invited to make their own pizza, mix a fruit cocktail drink and create their own dessert whilst mum and dad enjoy the freshly made Italian classics on offer, safe in the knowledge that the kids are being looked after and entertained.

Chef Paul Heathcote and his team promote fresh, healthy ingredients and simple home cooking. The reward card is also a fun way for youngsters to learn something different each time they visit the Olive Press. For those celebrating birthdays, the Olive Press will also supply a chocolate sponge cake for children to decorate themselves when booked in advance.
The Little Olives reward card can be used any time throughout the week and children receive a special gift and certificate upon completion.
