A free, interactive, live Legoland Discovery Centre adventure will be played out on the main stage of The Orient at The Trafford Centre this February half term.
The show takes place at 12 noon, 1.30pm and 3pm daily, Monday 15 February to Thursday 18 February.
For those who are interested in the history of the famous bricks, the centre will feature a Lego Factory tour, revealing the secrets of how Lego is made. Some components of the machinery will also be missing and children will be able to get involved to create new Lego bricks.
Families will be introduced to a variety of Lego characters and there will also be plenty of audience participation and opportunities to win golden tickets.
Characters starring in the shows will be conducting meet and greets with children between the performance times, and a Lego activity zone will be available everyday at the Bandstand in The Orient, where children can help to build models which will be displayed at the Legoland Discovery Centre when it opens on March 22.
Neil Crittenden, General Manager of the Legoland Discovery Centre said: “Our half term shows will provide a great introduction to the fantastic fun and interactive adventures that the Legoland Discovery Centre will bring to Manchester. We’re delighted with the shows, and we’re confident that children of all ages will love meeting the characters and helping to build Lego models which will be on display within the Centre.”
