If you've run out of ideas for how to keep the kids entertained over the Summer holidays, Manchester Central has the answers. This year sees the return of the Kids Fun Ideas Show at Manchester Central from 27-28 June. The show offers a different idea for every weekend, weekday and evening throughout the holiday.
More than just a great day out, the show is designed to give families thousands of ideas for things to do in the summer holidays it’s jam packed with places to go and creative ideas to take home. Amongst the exhibitors already confirmed for 2009 are Manchester United, Blackpool Illuminations, Jorvik Viking Centre, The Museum of Science and Industry, Camelot Theme Park and Splash World.
With live stage shows and hands-on workshop areas for the kids to get their hands dirty, the show offers a real taste of Summer fun and isn’t just for the young at heart, with loads of great ideas for parents and children alike.

Show director, Ruth Robinson said: “Although the focus is inevitably on the kids we have deliberately set out to create an event that everyone will enjoy. The great thing about the show is that it isn’t just an exhibition, there are loads of opportunities to get involved, try something new and discover the hundreds of exciting days out we have right on our doorstep in the UK.
“If people just want to bring along a picnic, spread a rug and make the most of all the live stage shows and workshop areas they are sure to have a wonderful day out and take home hundreds of ideas for the holidays.”
