Ice rink returns to Salford Quays

Salford Ice Rink comes from 3 December at its new home, the Lowry Plaza at Salford Quays.

If you're looking for something a bit different for your work's Christmas party, you can hire the rink for your group to use alone.

It's right next door to The Lowry and the Lowry Outlet Mall, and will make Salford Quays the perfect festive destination this Christmas.

Visitors can combine a twirl on the ice with watching The Lowry's festive production of Peter Pan and bargain present-buying at the mall.

Skaters get free parking and a free voucher booklet containing discounts for some of the restaurants, food court eateries and stores at the Lowry Outlet Mall.

There’s also free parking for all skaters for up to four hours at the Lowry Outlet Mall car park. Simply bring your ticket to the Ice Rink box office to have it validated.

If you're looking for something a bit different for your work's Christmas party, you can hire the rink for your group to use alone. Up to 50 skaters are allowed on the ice, and for every nine skaters, you'll get one place free.

The skating rink is also available for hire by school groups in the mornings, with prices starting at just £1 per skater for early bird bookings.

Go along with your friends, family or colleagues for a bit of Torvill and Dean-style action on the ice.
