Massive rabbit and Easter eggs

HE’S big, fluffy and a world record breaker. He is Darius, the world’s largest rabbit and he'll be the star of family festivities at Manchester’s Chill Factore this Easter.

At 4ft 3in tall and weighing 3st 7lb, Darius towers over the average rabbit and is the size of a small child.  Kids will have the opportunity to meet the Guinness World Record holder on Thursday 21 April, as part of a real animal farm coming to Manchester’s indoor real snow centre.Darius 2.jpg

The farm will be held in the Alpine Street adjacent to the real snow slopes and opens from 10am - 4pm, Tuesday 19 - Friday 22 April.  Free to enter, it will give children a chance to meet their favourite animals, including a pony, a goat, rabbits, piglets, ducklings, chicks and lambs. From Friday 22 - Sunday 24 April children can also join in on an fun Easter egg hunt in the snow play area.

Morwenna Angove, Chief Executive of Chill Factore, said: “Easter is a fantastic opportunity for families to spend some quality time together. Our forthcoming events will allow them to combine a visit to our free Easter farm with some fun activities on real snow, ensuring it’s a great day out for all ages. It’s an active way to entertain the kids during the holidays”.
