Meet Ben and Holly from hit kids TV show, get to grips with creepy crawlies and try your hand at ballon modelling

Salford Shopping City promises a summer of free fun for families visiting the centre throughout August.

Activities get underway on Wednesday 3August with Animal Loopy Balloons.Go along for a free workshops on how to make some amazing and professional looking balloon models, from cats and dogs, to rabbits and butterflies for the more advanced.

And back by popular demand, Mini Beasts & Reptiles will be in the centre on Saturday 4 August from 11am. Visitors will meet real life creepy crawlies, from scorpion cockroaches and tarantulas to slithering snakes (including a Burmese python). Audience participation is ,of course, optional.

On Friday 12 August, popular Nick Jnr stars Ben and Holly will be making an appearance. Enjoy some meet and greet magic, as the fantastic pair, from hit TV show Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom entertain visitors, pose for souvenir pictures and sign autographs. Ben and Holly will be appearing for 30 minute sessions from 11am until 4pm so make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment.
