When Daisy and Tom on Deansgate closed at the beginning of 2007, there were temper tantrums, sulking and tears. That was just the parents.
But adults and children alike can come out of mourning as world famous Hamleys Toy Store is set to launch at the end of September with fun filled festivities featuring favourite kiddie characters both inside and outside the store.
Hamleys, will become part of a Children’s World shopping experience on the sixth floor and will join other high profile brands including designer clothing from Ted Baker, DKNY and Ralph Lauren.
House of Fraser Manager, Jeff Johnson says: We are delighted that Hamleys is coming to Manchester. They are world famous toy retailers and I am thrilled that it will be available exclusively here at House of Fraser. There is a real buzz in store and we are all excited about its arrival which looks set to be a big hit with both children and adults alike.
Also joining the new Children’s World department are Gap Kids, Green Baby and Pumpkin Patch. “We will have over 10,000 square feet of store space dedicated to children and with our offerings on all our other floors, from fashion to homeware this really does mean House of Fraser truly has something to offer every member of the family,” adds Jeff Johnson.
