Product: Potty Training Pants
Price: £3.95
The Info: These pants are trying to make potty training fun whilst putting their fashionable foot first. Toddlers should be proud to wear these in between trips to the loo. They're cotton with elasticated waist and legs and a terry lining in the gusset with a waterproof lining underneath it. The theory is to teach the child they are wet but keep the soggy wetness inside the pants rather than soaking their outer clothes. The pants are suitable for kids two – three years (it’s advised to check measurements though as kids do come in all shapes and sizes).
First impressions: Funky. If there was an award for cool pants then these would certainly take first position on the podium. Alas there is no such award, yet. The pants come in three designs - bee, cow and skull. We had to have all three.
Ease of use: Obvious really. Put these pants on your little toilet tripper and hope that the countless visits eventually end in an accident free zone. A toddler can easily pull them up and down themselves, giving the confidence to carry on even if you are not in the room with them.
Cons: Once your toddler is trained, it will be hard to say goodbye to these cool pants. Well, you could always have another baby...
Value for money: Definitely good value, especially when you consider the amount of money you are going to save on constant washing and of course, when you can finally ditch those nasty nappies.
The verdict: Mums dream, keeping the carpet clean.
