Sock Ons were designed by Kezi Levin, a young mother of five little boys and a graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London. Sock Ons are a little garment that keep baby socks where they should be – on baby’s feet. The garment is worn over the sock and 'locks' it into place with a patent pending design.

Available in two sizes, 0 – 4 months and 6 – 12 months.
Awards:
Winner of Innovation Award at Kind Und Jugend International Baby Show 2008.Winner of British Female Inventor Award 2008.
First impressions: The pair we tried were baby blue but they still reminded me of the awful pop socks they make you wear in shoe shops. Thought they might look odd pulled over the outside of socks and was sceptical something so simple would do the job.
Ease of use: Sometimes fiddly to wrestle onto a wriggling baby, but once they were on they stayed put for the whole day.
Pros: As mum to a seven-week-old boy I'd been losing an average of one baby sock a day but haven't lost any since trying out the Sock Ons. Despite initially not liking the design, I now think they look quite funky. The one-size-fits all means they'll last your baby for months.
Cons: So tiny they're tricky to find in the sock drawer. The bright blue pair we had clashed with a couple of outfits, but that was a small price to pay.
Value for money: A snip at £2.99.
The verdict: Why has nobody thought of these before? A brilliantly practical way of dealing with an annoying little problem. I'm off to buy a spare pair.
