Did you win a two night stay at Augill Castle?

Kids Confidential teamed up with Augill Castle to offer you the chance to win a two night stay in this atmospheric, award-winning hotel.

Augill Castle is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, close to the Lake District and at the foot of the North Pennines. There are 14 bedrooms or family suites, some with four poster beds. It's quirky, cool, and has heaps of character.

We were inundated with entries but could only choose one winner. We’re pleased to announce that prize went to Confidential reader Christine Chamberlain.

Christine, from Urmston in Manchester, will be taking daughter Claire and her three children along with her.

She said: “Claire had twins just before Christmas and she also has a five-year-old boy. I thought it would be nice if she shared the prize as she was not going to be able to go away this year. We have never been to Cumbria before so are looking forward to it very much.”

Architectural features are everywhere – turrets, stained glass windows, panelled walls and huge dramatic windows make Augill a very special place to stay.

It's a family-friendly place where parents can relax knowing that their children are having an equally good time. Outside, is a playground, tennis court, a fort in the forest and a tree house. Inside there's a library of videos and DVDs, a games room, toys for all ages and a whole castle - complete with towers and turrets to explore.

Christine said “I was delighted when I won the weekend break as I never usually win anything. We are going to Augill Castle in the summer and are looking forwardto staying in a hotel that caters for families.”
