Head Over Heels again...

Head Over Heels play centre and family restaurant, is to open a second site in South Manchester after securing a £300k loan from The Royal Bank of Scotland.

The new Head Over Heels site, which is due to open next month, is over twice the size of the original centre in Chorlton. It will feature a giant play area, a disco room, car track, mini cinema, sensory room and bungee trampolines.

Work is underway to transform a 17,500 sq ft site on Stanley Green Business Park in Handforth Dean into the North West’s largest play centre, generating 50 new jobs for local people across the two play centres.

Cathy Dunlevy, owner of the popular indoor children’s play facility, said “We have been looking for a second site in South Manchester for some time and are delighted that we are almost ready to open in Handforth Dean.

“It is a very exciting time for everyone connected with the business as it gives us the opportunity to offer children a play centre on a scale and standard not previously seen in this area.

“The success of the Chorlton site is largely due to catering for the needs of both adults and children and to the fantastic staff who help to create a friendly and fun-filled environment where children can play and exercise safely.

“We also appeal to parents with small babies, who come to meet with friends and relax in our child friendly cafe. We plan to recreate this when our new centre opens in September, the exact date to be announced on our website.”

RBS business and commercial banking in Manchester provided a £300k loan to help with the acquisition and kit-out costs.
