KIDS Confidential teamed up with The George and Dragon in Penrith and Away with the Kids, an online travel directory for families which specialises in child-friendly holidays in the UK, to offer you the chance to win a luxury weekend break in elegant accommodation.
We could only choose one winner and we’re pleased to announce the prize went to Confidential reader Ian Waxman.
Ian, from Prestwich, Manchester, will be going with his wife and three kids who are aged seven, twelve and fourteen.
The hotel is a short drive away from the Lake District National Park and makes a great base to enjoy the great outdoors. All rooms are individually designed, with en-suite bathrooms, stylish furniture, crisp linen and comfy custom-made beds to complete the luxurious lodgings.
Ian’s prize is a two night stay in a family room with breakfast each morning.
When asked what he was most looking forward to Ian said: “The country air, family time and plenty of walking, if the weather permits. I’m also going to enjoy the food and exploring the local area.”
He added “Kids Confidential is a great site with lots of ideas and it’s easy to navigate. This was actually the first time I had entered a competition on the site.”
The family will visit The George and Dragon next month.
Well done Ian and enjoy your stay.
